Congratulations, Taz. Now you are in for it. 9 hours throwing cranks, all beer & cig money going for lures, finding excuses to hang out, at not just any lake, but muskie lakes... spending HOURS looking at muskie gear catalogs. YER A GONNER!
BTW, Here is a little story about cameras:
It was my first time to hunt for muskies. 1993. Black Bear Lodge on the Chippewa Flowage in Wisconsin. September, when the big girls are fat and sassy. I was the back seater, with an old pro up front. We pulled out at oh- dark- thirty and got underway. 40 hs Johnson, so the going was slow but steady. Got out around the Big Banana Island and further..We’d been gone about 1 ½ hours heading for a special spot. My partner looks around and say “ You did remember the camera, didn’t ya?”
I didn’t.
He turned around and we went back.
He said: “It’s only a fish story if there is no picture, and it would be my luck to put a trophy in the net today, with no camera.”
I learned:If the rods go in, the camera goes in.
......................
and Oh yeah: it's Muskie. Don't let them cheesheads corrupt yer spellin'.
Tiger Muskies are sterile.
You can't keep them under 50 inches:
Let them do their job: Eating N.P.Minnows
