Scrolling problems

Post by fishing collector » Fri May 09, 2008 2:45 pm

Does anyone else have problems scrolling either up or down? Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. I don't have this problem on other sites but on WL it happens quite often..... Just asking....If you know of a fix for me please post. I don't know a lot about these computer things, so if it is a stupid easy fix on my part, please be kind to an old fisherman! Thanks Steve

Fly Fishing is the art of attaching a fake bug to a line and relying on the appropriate manipulation of the rod to deceive the fish into eating a sharp steel hook covered with feathers and fur.

What part of the site do you have these problems on? What browser are you using? What operating system are you using?

We've never had something like this reported before.

Sorry............ Laptop has no mouse....... Most of the time it happens in the reports area. I use the arrows on the lower right side. The ones on the upper right side(page up - down work fine) The scroll bar on the right side of the page works fine.

Oh well ..... I will work it out.....Thanks, Steve

Can you send me a link to the page? I'm not even sure which page you are talking about.

Here it is Sir... http://www.washingtonlakes.com/CountyLa ... aspx?id=30 Hope this works....or doesn't? I get here from the home page State map interactive. I picked Snohomish county.

I also have problems when I search for items in the forums. I get a note that says "There are problems in the data base"..... I got it when asking for "smoking fish" .... The new site will probably fix it all.... Steve

The forum search problem is a real and verified problem. The scrolling problem... well... not sure what to say about that one still. That page you linked me to, the CountyIndex page, isn't really large enough for a scrollbar... so I guess I'm not sure what you would be using the scrollbar for in the first place. That page has a grid in the middle, with paging... and it never has a scrollbar.... am I missing something?

Aaron, Thanks for taking your time..... I'm just an old guy who probably doesn't understand this computer at all.... Don't waste any more time on this. I'll get along just fine. I'm going fishin'..... Thanks again, Steve
