Uploading to Photo Gallery
Is there any reason why we cant upload photos to the gallery as easy as it is to the reports? I know there is a size issue, but isn't there the same issue with the reports?:safe:

The process is the same, browse and then hit the upload button. It's finding the starting point that can be tricky. It always takes me a few extra moments to find the correct way to access my gallery that allows for editing/uploading.

Not the same; photos are always too big, unlike uploading for reports.:batman:
RE:Uploading to Photo Gallery
Whats the average size of photos you are trying to upload?

I'm not sure how to tell. I just know they load fine on the reports but not on the gallery. Photos are from a little Panasonic Lumix digital.:rambo:

Sometimes all you have to do is place the curser over the picture and a little small window will open and may or may not tell you the size of the picture.
Another way is to open the picture on your computer, and then place the curser over the picture, right click and a window will open and in that window it may or may not show the size of the picture.
Ya never know for any given picture or type of picture or the program used to store and/or open the picture how or when it show the size.
Also a btmp picture is HUGE in pixel size and takes up LOTS of room on your computer, and sometimes won't work on some web sites.
And a jpeg is much smaller in pixel size and so will use less space on your computer.
Yet you get the very same picture with both the btmp and jpeg, or jpg, so try to save all pictures as a jpeg.

I'll be uploading some updates soon and I'll see what I can do to increase the file size restrictions...

Thanks guys; and I'll keep working on my issue. I'm thinking though that the reports must have a way of resizing of its own, unlike the gallery loader. :jocolor:

you are correct. It's two differently coded parts of the web site.
The main web site itself is coded by Aaron - he gets all the thanks - while the forum is a packaged product that web sites buy and then modify to their uses, which means the forum is trickier to change and I know Aaron is reluctant to mess with it too much.

Forum? Maybe I didn't read this thread correctly... I thought we were talking about the Premium Membership Galleries... not the forum....

To clarify, I'm talking about up-loading to the personal photo gallery, as compared to the reports.:king:
Not to worry. My two x-wives chose not to understand me also. Now I go fishing when I want!!! It all works out.
