this is a 6-12 10'6 spinning rod I wanted to get the generals Populations response if this is a good deal or not? Never owned a Gloomis lami is as far as the amount of money I spent on a rod.

That is a decent deal. IS it used or new? If it's used and on craigslist I'd say make and offer at 100 to 125, if it's brand new it's a pretty good deal. It's a nice rod, you wouldn't be disappointing, good for big water steelhead and small water salmon.

it's used I found it at a pawn shop down the street. it is missing the butt plug deal at the end of the rod. but that should be an easy replacement.

I like to do searches and E-Bay is always interesting.

E-Bay new $245, ouch:

$270, again, ouch:

Sounds like you may have a good deal there. Ask them to not charge sales tax, I've had Pawn Shops do that all the time for me on guitar purchases. (they pay for it on their end). It's a way of getting a 10% discount. Pawn Shops = negotiate!
