Rod & Reels

Post by mredd » Fri Dec 02, 2011 7:46 am

I want to buy my son-in-law some fishing rods, reels & tackle for christmas. He is stationed in FT. Lewis for the next 3 years.
He does not flyfish.
I would like info on spinning rods & reels suitable for the rivers & lakes in the area. I would also like info on tackle being used.
We are from Ohio, we fish Lake Erie for Walleye,Perch & Steelhead, also fish the rivers for Steelhead.
Any info would be greatful as I will also be making the trip up there several times to visit & fish.
Thanks Ed
