Hides / Pelts / Feathers

long shot, but any of you hunters that toss your Hides/Pelts/Feathers out mind saving them for me for fly tying ???:compress: :compress: :compress: :compress: :compress: pheasants, rabbits, elk, deer, turkey...all usable.

Here is what I do sometimes and boy does the ol'lady get embarassed.We will be driving down the road and if I see road kill I can use I swoop it up.Talk about funny looks I get.It doesn't matter highway, city street, country road,or a shopping center.So if you see a guy snatching up road kill it probably for fly tying.:-$

hell ya, same here.

normaly there arent much road kill out here, but when i get out of the city, my eyes are peeled.

lol I might have to try that.

I have some friends who hunt, and I have gotten some good tying material from them before.

A year ago my dog corned a rabbit all by himself I just happen to have a decent knife with me so, well lets just say I went home with nice pelt. Used that one for many steelhead flys.
