Just read that Campbell, Clear Lake, and Grandy are each getting some 2-4 pound trout planted for this weekend. I was thinking of poking around on Cranberry for some browns, might have to check out Campbell instead.

Thank you for posting this. Where did you see the news release? I've looked high and low for the information and no luck.

Thanks for posting the link. I saw it on their facebook as well, but I'll be darned if I can't find it on their web page as well.

out of the three lakes, what is the one that would be LESS wind blown? I want to head out and have a shot at them Saturday, but the weather report calls for lots of wind.

Campbell can definitely get pretty choppy. I would guess that Grandy would be likely to have less wind due to the tree cover. Then again it's closer to the mountains which tends to help funnel winds.

Grandy would be the least at risk at wind.. it does get lil choppy but not like campbell or clear.. Ive been out on clear lk in 3 ft waves.. not very good conditions for a small lk boat.. nice thing is these fish are freshly planted so you should have a decent chance from shore as they havent fully scattered

We would like to meet other responsible fishermen (w/a boat) who fish Baker lake or Skagit lakes or Marine Area 8-2 on a regular basis. It's me and a friend. We have our own gear and can chip in reasonably or provide a full lunch and snacks. Pleasant personality, clean background. Please be okay with a respectful smoker. Thanks.
