Squid Fishing?
Does anybody ever squidfish in the winter? My dad and i did it alot this winter, and it was pretty fun. cold weather and small amounts though.
RE:Squid Fishing?
i keep meaning to try it, but the cold weather and rain keep me either on the mountains or at home
RE:Squid Fishing?

My friends and I used to go once in awhile during the summer a few years ago around Bremerton. I don't know if you guys on the other side of the sound get them schooled up around that area during the summer months but we used to catch around 30-40 when we'd go. I think I've done it maybe once during the winter before, too cold to do that on the water haha.

I saw a couple of people getting them in the middle of the day last week at Redondo. It wasn't red hot but I watched them catch a few while I was there...

Yup, once in a blue moon I do. Bundle up and you'll be fine. Can be some excellent squiding. I think I even have a couple reports posted from years back in the area 10 saltwater reports section.

Actually, didn't do too well but those around us did. I'm not great at squiding...
